Homework:
At least 15 entries into your dialectical journal.
The teacher is checking all today's work on Monday.

Reading Section: Romeo and Juliet
Complete act 3, begin act 4 if time permits.
Reading Section: "Horrible Images of Death in Haiti"
Finish charting the text.
Make connections (4th reading):
Reading and Writing Section: Review Assessments
Show students which questions they got wrong on each assessment.
Review each assessment--students need to keep notes on the questions they missed.
Speaking Section: Next Week's Presentations
Explain the assignments. Presentations are worth 15% of your grade.
Dialectical Journal = 5% (the presentation and the writing are two separate grades)
Portfolio Presentation = 10%
Follow the guide on your web sites.
You are allowed to use 3x5 cards.
Show students the rubric:

Discuss the rubric.
What kinds of questions will I ask? (Charting the text and anything that was unclear from your presentation)
